A Not-So-Mean Green: 'The Little Green Book of Absinthe'

ABSINTHE-MINDED
Some fans of absinthe use special slotted spoons to dissolve a sugar cube into the stuff to offset its mildly bitter taste. Demitasse Jewelry’s delicate charm necklaces ($175-$375) pay tribute to the intoxicating tradition using gold, silver and gemstones.

Many starlets choose to wear initials, numbers, or symbols around their necks. But Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, and Lindsay Lohan like to wear spoons. Demitasse jewelry makes tiny gold pendants modeled after everything from Absinthe spoons to sugar sifters. Equally perfect for the gourmand -- or the wild child.

Coco Perez says: "Better Than A Finger 'Stache"
Even though Movember is coming to an end, but you can celebrate all year long with these 'stache-tastic necklaces.
For those of you that aren't in the know, Movember is the month where guys, but we won't discriminate against the ladies, don't shave for the entire month of November.
Demitasse Jewelry has a special line of mustache necklaces called 'Demistache'. They offer different shapes and colors of staches and even one that's encrusted with diamonds!
You really gotta have love for the flavor savers to buy that one!
They also have tons of other funky baubles including some vampire inspired jewels, but we've enough of that!

The Urban Stache tops LA Times blog "Bearded & Tschorn" post:
Bearded & Tschorn: Mustache merchandise
So far in the marathon of mustache musings, I've forgotten to point out that "Movember" has become a great way of sponsoring brands to reach the tonsorial tribe and support a charitable cause at the same time. As you prepare for your postprandial foray into the retail wilderness, you might want to be aware of the following for the mustache maven or friend of facial hair in your family:
The Urban Demistache: This thick, handsome handlebar looks like it was plucked fresh from a carnival barker. Basic versions of the 2-inch-long mustache are plated pewter available in rose gold, brass gold, gunmetal black or silver for $38, or you can kick it up a notch with topaz, crystals, amethysts or pave crystals for a bit more (up to $98). Order one here through Jan. 1 and the company will donate $8 from the sale to Movember. ($38 to $98).

AWESOME, THANKS LA TIMES!!!
US Magazine thinks Vampire Chronicles is "A Fierce Find!"
Recessionista: Killing It!
It’s hard to escape the guilty pleasure of the Twilight juggernaut. As New Moon is now in theaters, everyone’s inundated with which "team" they're on or jumping over themselves to meet R-Patz or Taylor Lautner.
If you want a small bit of the action, these baubles at Demitasse Jewelry are perfect -- as the line seems to have the theme of New Moon on the brain! These pendants retail from $38 and up. Chomp on that!
The Demivamp necklace is on sale for a limited time only. It's made of pewter and comes in three color variations -- ancient brass, silver and rosey gold -- with matching 30" cable chains. It features a size-9 ring of fangs and a bullet tip center.
Buy it here.

Chictopia feels the Vampire craze with Vampire Chronicles
Whether you’re trying to attract a sparkly vampire or attempting to ward off his painful nibble, Demitasse’s newest installment in their Metropolitan Collection has plenty of Vampire-inspired pieces to keep you stocked for the winter. I’m guessing that’s when Vampires are pretty active. Halloween and stuff?
The newest addition to the cheeky Metropolitan Collection is full of must-haves, even for someone like me who isn’t exactly a fan of the Twilight/Vampire Diaries craze. I guess having grown up with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and secretly wanting to be Sarah Michelle Geller, I can’t quite seem to grasp the concept of Vampires that glitter. Be that as it may, Vampire dentures attached to Rosary-inspired beads are always a win.

THANKS CHICTOPIA!!!

S+++ You Need To Get: Mustache Necklaces!
As you and your facial hair are probably well aware, November is mustache month, also known as Movember -- the annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, where men (uh, or so-inclined ladies) are encouraged to grow 'staches to raise awareness about men's health and raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer research and treatment.
Now if you're a girl who isn't willing to undergo hormone treatment for the month of November, or a guy who can't sprout a 'stache, have hope! Demitasse's wide array of fake facial hair includes the Demistache necklaces, which range from the $38 Urban Demistache to the $1,865 diamond-encrusted mustache neck piece. Order an Urban Demistache by January 1, 2010, and $8 goes to Movember and the organizations it supports -- LIVESTRONG and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
THANKS MTV!!!

DID YOU KNOW IT'S MOVEMBER? YES. WITH an M. It's NOT a typo.
W29Showroom is supporting Movember month.
JUST WHAT IS
MOVEMBER... YOU SAY?
The idea of Movember is simple: raise awareness of men’s health issues during the month of November by using one of the most macho of all symbols, the moustache, sort of like the pink ribbon during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month for the ladies.
The moustache has particular resonance because macho is just one of the reasons men don’t go to the doctor - studies find men who identify as traditionally masculine are 50% less likely to go the doctor than other men, who aren’t very likely to go to the doctor to begin with.
W29 Showroom is teaming up with 4 photographers: Alisa Connan, Ellinor Stigle, Jakob Axelman, and Will Sanders – to show what Movember means to them. Check out Their portraits feature their own interpretations of the moustache, some inspired by the moustache necklaces of one of W29's own designers, DEMISTACHE, who is also a proud supporter of Movember.
Please check out the Demistache moustaches. SOOOO CUTE. Purchase one A.S.A.P and support Movember month.
A special Thanks to W29 Showroom for their support and choosing Neon Polish to spread the word.

DEMISTACHE MOVEMBER 2009 PRES RELEASE - FINAL 1
Demitasse Launches New Blog!
“There was a time when the utensil one ate with or the utensil one served with was just as important as what they ate. In those times, people had the same reverence for silverware that we have today for jewelry—a working-class family would save for years to buy an actual silver spoon feed their children or collect. I wanted to bring back the type of intricate metalwork rarely seen anymore. What better way to do it than with a collection inspired by tableware itself?”
Rachael soon wanted to combine the passion today’s women have for jewelry with the same passion women once had for flatware and serving pieces by creating her own newly fabricated jewelry line, Demitasse. Demitasse creates a comfortable environment in which passions for food, flatware, and jewelry can come alive and be appreciated for their true beauty and pay homage to the past that strived on everything but fad diets and a spork.
